Which is better? BitDefender's Internet Security Suite 2012 or Norton's Internet Security Suite?
There are two views CNET has awarded the top two 2012 security suites Editors' Choice awards first choice is Bitdefender Total Security 2012 (download) in the paid suite security category followed closely by Norton. Bitdefender Total Security 2012was exemplary in securing the computer and its impact on computer performance was low and it posted excellent results against benchmark.
On the other hand, according to PCMag's the editor’s choice goes to Norton's Internet Security Suite. It gives good score for malware blocking and removal, identifies threats effectively. The scan time is very much quicker being 36 seconds on full clean system and full scan after identifying white files its 3 minutes. It stands out in keeping the system clean. The interface is easy to use. The rating for Norton’s Internet Security Suite is 4.5 stars and for Bitdefender Total Security 2012 its four stars. Norton's Internet Security Suite works very well with its other products.
Each has its pro and cons. If you already have Norton, you can continue using it for your PC.If you wish to try something new, you can go for Bitdefender Total Security 2012.
